I was called upon to assist some Keen sailors with the purchase of this 39’ Challenger. We carried out an in and out of water inspection as well as sea trials. During the out of water component we identified a soft section in the lower rudder support. during The repair we also found some questionable build technique. Repairs were carried out by local Shipwright Colin Wheatley.
